Soup of the day with freshly baked Taverners bread

Potted Brownrigg duck leg pate, cranberry chutney, toast

Island smoked trout fillet with roasted beetroot & horseradish

Salad of lightly pickled Jerusalem artichoke, Whitwell mushrooms & rosemary croutons


Mains

Free range roast turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffing & duck fat roasted potatoes

12 hour braised shin of beef with mash potato, roasted root vegetable

Fish of the day – dependent on the days catch

Fillet of pork wrapped in pancetta, black pudding & potato gratin, red cabbage

Root vegetable bubble & squeak, seasonal greens, chestnuts & caramelised onion gravy


Desserts

Christmas pudding cheesecake with boozy Godshill cherries

Whisky Mac – ginger crème caramel with whisky soaked sultanas, marmalade puff twist

Soft chocolate pudding with white chocolate ice-cream

Selection of Island cheeses with fruit paste & crackers
